Meet Hanna Imperial

Born in 2006, Hanna Imperial (Impy) is rising 11. He was started as a four year old.

He is being bought on slowly using the principles of classical training under the guidance of Nadine François who is based in Portugal and studied under the Master, Nuno Oliveira.

Impy has that real “look at me” presence about him, attracting attention wherever he goes. With a huge presence and athleticism combined with beautiful conformation and superb movement Impy is a horse to take notice of.

He is built uphill with an innate inclination to lift the front end and sit on his haunches. When combined with three superb paces the naturally balanced upright self-carriage produces some of the most beautiful movement you’ll see in a horse.

Whilst Impy's physicality is the first thing that people notice when meeting him, his personality is the next. Typical of PREs he likes being around people and other horses. He has a gentle, and somewhat cheeky, disposition which means he’s very easy to live with.

With a combination of bone, colour and height that makes Impy unique in New Zealand he is being offered for limited services.

The quality of the line is evident throughout his pedigree: Indiano won Champion of Spain; Oliva JIM has produced several champions in America and Moonshine Lace was one of top scoring mares in Australasia in the 2001 Spanish stud book visit.

Moonshine Lace also won Champion PRE Mare and Adult Movement Champions at EQUIPRE 2006.

More recently, a half-sister to Imperial was exported from New Zealand to Spain and a full sister has been exported to Australia.
